Thank You and Congratulations to Janice D. Hughlett for 50 Years of Service at Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP

Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP recently honored one of our long-time employees, Janice D. Hughlett, for 50 years of service at the firm. Janice started in 1972 as a legal secretary, a position she proudly holds today. Janice’s contributions over the years have been invaluable and far too many to mention. Remarkably, Janice can name every single person she has worked for over the past five decades and the dates she worked for them. In her spare time, Janice rescues opossums and is President of the National Opossum Society. She is a wonderful coworker and always willing to help her coworkers with a homeopathic remedy. Janice is one of the only Niles Barton employees who attended Woodstock and the only employee to ever bring her pet pig, Noodles, to work. 

To commemorate the occasion, Janice received an official citation from Governor Larry Hogan. Niles Barton’s Managing Partner Craig D. Roswell expressed his gratitude as well, “We are extremely grateful to Janice for her dedication, remarkable work ethic, and numerous contributions to the firm.”
