Niles Barton Community Service Day Supports MD Food Bank
September 25, 2019
Volunteers from Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP, including attorneys, paralegals, business professionals, and our legal support team participated in the Annual Community Service Day at the Maryland Food Bank in Halethorpe, Maryland, as part of our commitment to give back to the community. The group assembled at the Maryland Food Bank's distribution center on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, to sort non-perishable food items that are then distributed through over 1,250 locations in the community to feed Maryland families and individuals who rely on the support of donations.
Our volunteers assisted in the packing over 9,000 pounds of food which equates to approximately 7,500 meals to be given out to hungry Maryland families.
The firm is pleased to renew our support to the Maryland Food Bank through community efforts. Niles Barton's Managing Partner, Craig Roswell, stated, "It is a great opportunity to make a direct contribution to our community during the holiday season, and our employees enjoy the team aspect of group volunteering."
