Congratulations and Thank You to Lillian (Lil) Karl

Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP recently celebrated the retirement of Lillian (Lil) Karl, our devoted Office Manager for almost 20 years. Lil was celebrated with a gardening-themed party at the firm’s offices.

Lil loved the family oriented aspect of the firm and working with all of employees. Lil stated “I saw young people come in and grow in their positions, watched them and their families grow. I watched older people slow down and retire. We all shared and celebrated life’s moments together. I learned so much from the time that I started working there from so many others. I am so thankful for all the guidance and support that I received.” In the course of Lil’s career at Niles Barton, there were three different Managing Partners, two renovations, and one pandemic. After working for 52 years, Lil decided it was time to retire and spend time with her husband, family, and friends. She has already started volunteering at an animal shelter.

Niles Barton’s current Managing Partner Craig D. Roswell expressed his gratitude, “We are very grateful to Lil for her 20 years of service at the firm and her many contributions as Office Manager. We will miss Lil and wish her a very happy retirement.”
